I just bought a 2002 29 Fever and need to get a navigation unit. I have been looking at the GO7 Simrad, but am open to other options. My main question is what is everyone using for transducers? Does Simrad offer a transducer to shoot through the hull or people using a different brand? Are people using these units without a transducer? Obviously water depth and temp would be nice to have, but I already have a hummingbird depth on the dash so not a huge concern but it would be nice. Obviously a transom mount is out of the question. Second question is a 2002 575Sci compatible with the NMEA setup as far as sensors go and what is all involved in wiring in say RPM, Boost psi, water temp etc?
