I have rented the water jet pumps here to move the muck from under my lift. They pretty much are just a "trash" pump that shoots water out a 2" pipe that has one end flattened out a little. Its what they use to set pilings down here. you can move a lot of dirt with them.

Sounds like some of my friends at the Ozarks are going to try using some air bags and lifting the back end of the boat to help get it off the lift. Hopefully it will be on the trailer this weekend.

I was going to suggest that, friend of mine on Table rock does boat salvage sinkers not floaters, remember when the Duck boat want down is a storm on TR a couple yrs ago, my buddy and team dove on it bagged and floated it

There is probably 3 ft of bottom hanging off the back of the lift. I dont know why this wouldnt work. Hoping for the best! I know when the lift was on the ground, the whole drive was in the water. So should be able to lift it pretty far, atleast enough to get the bunks wet and hopefully be able to pull it off.

obviously most of the weight would be in the back of the boat. What % do you think is back there? Im guessing they will have to float the stern and then pull it off the lift with another boat because there will still be quite a bit of weight there I would imagine.

Just got this picture from the guy we bought the boat from. Took our good friend Justin about 5 hours to get it off off the lift, but she is coming home on Wednesday morning!

What did it actually take to get it free?

Sounds like the recovery air bags to lift the back end and about 5 come alongs.
