I’ve never seen a 35 Lightning 496 advertised….I guess owners are very happy and don’t want to park with them The 525 boats are awesome, but have their pain points and in the wrong hands are bound for more costly maintenance. Run hard put away wet.....$$$ |

Absolutely! I've had mine since new, that is 22 year now. To be honest, I really think you don't see them for sale is that they are still running fine and owned by folks that wanted a different owner experience. For me that was less long term maintenance and cost. Turns out, I was right.

I’m sure you’re right, just that I’ve never seen a 35 Lightning 496 advertised….Do you know if they built any staggered 35 Lightnings with 496’s with the updated interiors 2007-08?
I guess owners are very happy and don’t want to park with them. 🙂 RR Still think that boat made today with modern LT power would be a hit,,, or the 33. |

I have a 96 35 Lightning (single step). Have a pair of blower motors that really make it fun to run!

I'm going to be listing for sale my 96 35' Lightning. If anyone is seriously looking for a really nice, true 100+mph boat, PM me. It should be up on the Classifieds by the weekend.
