did you guy's see in the new powerboat mag that they were getting 85mph on gps out of a stock 42 staggered. im wonder what there do to get that mph real high x, its box's i guess will have to wait and see. if its true that flyings for a stock 500efi 42

I can get 83.4 and 5300 rpm on GPS with my 42. The thing is that you have to have a set of labbed Hydromotives on it. With labbed Bravos from Lake X you get 77 to 78 GPS 5200rpms. I have the staggard 500efi's. The hole shots are better with the Bravo's were the hydro's blow out and add 1.5 sec to plane. 4.5 sec to lane with tabbs down about eight tabbs nuetral.

what size hydros are you running on your 42 im assuming that there labed if so who did them.

I should know this. Ill let you know when I get back to the boat. I didn't think I would miss 5 mph until a boat passed me. I took off my Bravos the next day.
