25 fever????
I found a 25?? Fever,,, sure looks like a 27 in the picture Same
US-1 grafic has a 454/450hp motor in MN. anyone tell me if there was a 95-25 fever? Saleman didin,t know:confused: Looks cool and is in my price range , |
Surfacetension,
Look at the winshield, if it curves around like a velociy it is the 24 CS, I think the CS stood for Competition Skier?? Fountain built them for a few years, I have heard good things about them, however they are a sit down boat (no bolster) and have a shallow V, makes them very fast but rough in rough water. If this is the one you are refering to it is the 24 CS http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/...6124.htm<br /> or http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/1/4/40274414.htm Hope this helps Will:p |
No it,s not that I swear it looks like a 27 but the ad says 25 it,s on Boatrader in afton MN. It has a cover over the windshield but I still don,t think it,s a CS
|
you can tell if its a 24cs. it does not have beak like the other fountains.
|
You can.t really see the nose in the picture, the more I look at it -- well maybe. I have seen a CS in the water sits real low, almost looked like it was sinking
|
27 Fountain CS stands for competition series . the boat was made from 94 to 98
|
I was directing this to 27 Fountain. the boat is 24cs . 24ft 8in.long
|
We looked at a 24' and a 27' Fountain side by side at the Fountain dealer the 24' is a vairy shallow sit down boat and not alot of cockpit room or cabin space. But if you wont fast lake boat thay go good and fast. We had a 27' for four years and were vairy happy with it. when you compare the 24' and 27' see what I'm trying to say the 27' is a lot mor boat.
P.S. I have seen that boat around town and it's been for sale for some time HHHHMMMM Good Luck;) |

Let my know if you want some pic of that boat I live about twenty minutes from Afton |
Thanks , I called the dealer and spoke to a guy named JOE, he said he would call me back. As far as any pictures Yes if it,s a 27 fever no if it,s a CS . I keep looking at the picture and still can,t tell
|
I'm shure that it is a 24' he had his top made by the same guy I did I looked at the boat then.
Tinking back I had a 1991 27' and on some of the factory paper work it did say 25' and some said 27'. 1990 is when thay changed from meters to feet I don't know if thay didn't count the swim platform at first or jest a typo??? |
So does that mean it could be a 25 fever? and turn out to be a 27just called a 25, or is it a 24CS???? I guess what I,m saying is yes I would like some pictures IF it,s a bolster style stand up and drive Boat.
Is the boat in nice shape? |
NO thats a 24CS I think mine was a typo I called Afton but jest got the recording.
The boat is in vary nice shape |
I'm going to say 24CS. The sides below the swim platform look more angled than on the Fevers. Also, it looks like it has the long, non-beak bow.

Is there any way to email a pic of the boat or do you have access to the serial number which is located on the starboard aft of the boat.......I am almost certain that it is a 27'....Fountain has never produced a 25'.....a 24' was produced for a year and a half......there is a major difference in styling between the two....for one, the 24 has sit down bolsters instedad of drop out bolsters that are on most Fountains.....

I have all sorts of pictures of a 24CS from someone on OSO from a while back. I didn't realize that fountain made them that small. Really pretty interesting boat, light weight, w/ a 502. From email conversations, the boats are also equiped w/ internal bladders you can fill while at the lake for better wake-boarding? Anyway, if anyone would like a certain picture, let me know. I have about 25 or so of his boat. Definitely a sit down though! PM me if interested!

|
Naw, I wouldn't enjoy selling boats. Rather spend my weekends resting on the water, not in sone building. ;)
The buyer is to be here Sat for the boat. |
Hope all goes well Saterday, then the fun begins "finding a new ride"
|
The 24CS was listed at 24' 8" so mayby they rounded it up to 25. There was a guy on OSO awhile back that just bought a 24CS and he was calling it a 25. He said it was listed as 25' on the registration.

No problem , My copy of the ad said fever and at 30K that would be some deal, but you know what they say " if it seems too good to be true then it probably is" Thanks to all who responded
