Sea Strainer Necessary?
 

The recent California weather has talked me into my first salt water trip. However, I don't have a sea strainer. How important is it to have one. I'll most likely only visit the salt a couple times this year. Any other advise for first time in salt?

Thanks Mike, I'll check those two out. Would you go out without one? Even only once? I know all it takes somethimes is once.
