I did it...
After much deliberation (like 2 years) I finaly pulled the trigger on a 2003 29 Fever with the 575SCi power. I take delivery next week. Never had a high performance boat before but I've had plenty of boat envy - looking up from my Wellcraft as they'd roar by. Now I'm one of the crowd. It figures it would just start raining! Oh well, I'm pumped just the same!

Sweet! That thing should fly with that power. I have a '96 29 with an HP500 and love it. I'm sure you'll love yours too.

Liquid Friction, That is going to be a great set up. I would guess around lower 80's speed. Will the 575 fit under the 29 hatch with out a scoop???

Liquid,
Congrats on the purchase.....where do you live that it is raining? All I see is the D!$% white stuff! |
Stockton - CA Delta Area. Rod out at Honker Cut Marine hooked me up, those folks are a real treasure. I've purchased a lot of pricey things in my day but none of the people that I've got them from have ever made me feel as important as they do out at Honker Cut. I have to hand it to them, they have this service thing down pat.

Liquid Friction,
Congratulations and welcome to the Fountain family! That thing is going to ROCK!!! Dan |
You lucky dog. You're going to love it. Have fun.:D

Nice set up, the 575 is a cool engine. Since you need to run premimum you may want to add an intercooler. this would be good for at least 120 HP. (after the warranty is out though)
As soon as you have pictures......... |
Welcome to the Fountain group Liquid. Sounds like a rocket. Good luck and post pics and impressions after running her.
