42' Fountain blower hatches
 

Does anyone have blower hatches for a 1995 42' Fountain with staggered engines. Scoops or raised style.

I am anxious to see how you make out. I am installing new engines in my '95 42 Fountain. They are 540's w/ blowers. I am worried that they won't fit under the hatches. We have several feet of snow up here in Maine so I can't get at my boat to measure.

We put 10-71s on a 1999 42ft Fountain with hp500 in it. The hatches only needed hatch inserts to fit.

How deep were the inserts? Did you have to cut the bottom out of the hatch cover padding? Where did you buy the inserts?

Tall deck blocks or standard? With standard and staggered you should be fine...... I'm mean that without innercoolers of course.
