Rear Seat, pulling apart (Solved)

Some of you may notice the bottom or the rear seat on Fountains coming undone on some models. This is usually caused by people stepping into the boat or standing on the middle seam.

Anyway, I fixed mine last night and thought I would share how easy it was.

1. Remove the 8 bolts holding rear seat on, place on table.
2. Use a staple remover (office type) to remove staples on reverse side bottom of seat.
3. Pull cushin out
4. Now pull out the staples that have come undone, causing it to pull loose.
5. Get about 16-24 1/2 to 3/4" screws with 1/2" washers to go in where the staples came out, put screws through the plastic seam, restaple if needed.
6. Reassemble

Entire job took just over 2 hours, you will need Heavy duty staple gun, Staple remover, screw gun, and wrench.

Very easy fix:D
