blower pulley

I have a stock 525SC 29' Fever. What size pulley do I need to make more boost? The stock one now makes 5 psi. If they do make one, is it worth it?

For more boost, go to a smaller pulley.

If I remember correctly the blowers input shaft is splined.
Take a look, if it is you will either have to have a Machine Shop turn you one up or refit the snout with the standard Weiand shaft to use any of their pulleys.
I found a guy who made a bunch a few years ago but they were really small, like about 2.625" dia.
I tryed them but didn't like pushing them that hard, those were the only ones he had left so...
Let me check the garage cabinets...i think i have a few Merc takeoffs out there.
Maybe we could turn the dia. down on them.

I found them...They measure about 3.30" in dia.
The ones I went to when we upgraded shafts and pulleys was the 3.07"dia.
Which made just shy of 1lbs. additonal boost.

my 525sc had smaller pullies that made 8psi but ,the belt slipped at high rpm . I went back to stock 5.5 , I think the best way to go would be a intercooler also if you start playing with boost. heat is not your motors best friend. but good luck with what ever takes place.
