Replacing cockpit teak

Has anyone replaced the teak in their cockpit? I have a 10 meter that has teak cabin doors/trim and boarding steps. The teak kindof dates the boats exterior and I would like to fabricate new pieces. What material should I look for (where is it avail?)

Thanks- Bryan

My vote is for King Starboard www.kingstarboard.com . It comes in sheets, 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", ... up to over an inch thick.

Works like wood with normal tools - table saw, router, etc. I've used it with success in a number of places on my boat. And it even floats.

Any pictures yet?

Thanks guys. I found some 3/8 inch locally for 120 .00. It's a 90 by 54 inch sheet. I figured that this would be thick enough for the doors/trim. I'll post them tomorrow.
I was waiting for better weather, but not yet.

Thanks- Bryan
