I agree!:D Unfortunately "The Executioner" will no longer be able to see our responses. :( Hope he reposts again in the general section. But since it's a Fountain question it will probably be moved here where he won't be able to see it anyway. :(

Executioner,

Welcome to the Fountain board. One question, how tall are you? I'm 6'2 and there's a noticable difference lying down in the v-berth in the 35 vs. the 32. My feet hang over in the 32 where the 35 fits just right. You might want to try this test.

35 is a great hull, stable and fast. Can't speak for the 32's ride, never had the opportunity. There's great deals out there on some used boats. Marginmn has it right, you want 500's (or bigger :D ).

Good luck,
Brian

Yep, you want 500's or plan on getting out run by lesser boats...what a horrible feeling that is!
I have 454 mags and wish I had gone with larger power. I think the 496's would make a nice package in the new executioner. Figure 78 to 80 on GPS. The 525's would be the best power choice but very pricey.

Can non Platinum Members view the manufacturer section but are not allowed to post?????

Executioner,

I'm interested in moving up and I'm about to put my 35 on the market. Send me an e-mail address and I'll send you some pix and info. Ours is a 2000 with HP 500 Carb motors on a triple axle aluminum trailer. Here's one to wet your appetite.

Go with the 35....
You'll like it better in rough water;)

Executioner...I know Tarheel's boat, have had the pleasure of boating with he and Ms. Tarheel, you will not find a cleaner or better maintained 35. Boat is also pictured in this months Poker Run Mag. in the article about the James River Poker Run.

Thanks for the msg Tarheel. Look forward to seeing some pics.

You have convinced us without a doubt that the 35 is the way to go. Heading Sumerset way to get a feel for single step Ex versus twin step Lightning and decisions will go from there.

I love my 32, it is a nice boat for a lake. I like the ride because it gets a little loose.... The 35 stays in the water somewhat... can be a little boreing. My 32 just has 502s in it.... at 75mphs i can get it alittle loose, and it feels just right..... oh, did I mention mine is for sale..... let me know....?????
