No Longer Just a DREAM...
 

From our first sighting back in 88, piloting a Fountain has been a dream of ours....

Last week we closed our deal on a 2004 35 Lightning. Man we are soooo excited, this is our first venture into performance boating and can't wait to settle into that bolster for the first time.

I made a few post's to the OSO family as "The Executioner" (that'l teach me) and your input helped greatly in our decision between a 32 or 35. Special thanks to the OSO Admin's who graciously let me change my screen name to our boat's name.

35 Lightning / Twin 500efi / XR Drives / Plasma graphics. The 525's would have been sweet, but this started out as a used 32 proposition, funny how things changed along the way $$$. The best part was my wife was the one suggesting the changes.

Major thanks to Randy Hartmann and his wife Vaughn at Lake Cumberland Marine for helping make this a reality. Randy and his staff are first class, and I have never seen so much performance in one location.

I've got a couple other questions to post so I look forward to spending time with this group as a Fountain Owner :)

Excellent news & congrats!

I understand the feeling you have!
First the sleepless nights on what to order, then pulling the trigger, & then the wait.
When they call you to tell you your boat's in, it's another crazy feeling.
I remember driving to the dealership to pick up the new Fountain thinking I was going to crap my pants (literally), kinda like the feeling you get prior to large public speaking.

In any event, it's an exciting experience & share it with your OSO Fountain friends!

Congrats, on the new boat. I dont think you will regret your choice. The 32 is nice. The 35 is even better.

We Have a 35 and we have never looked back, best bang for the buck and the engine choice is bomb proof..
