Air/Fuel Separators

I read in a previous post that some of you were going to install one of these to help prevent fuel from spilling out of the vent when fueling, but I never read about the results.

Has anyone tried to use one yet?

Re: Air/Fuel Separators

I installed one it does the job. I used one I found at west marine. I installed it in the fuel tank vent line and it stops the fuel from comming out of the vent when the tank is full. Before it would spit a little out when I would fill up. Worse than that when I would pull away from the pump and look out my rear view mirror I could see a steady stream of fuel come out of the vent. Both problems are solved now. It will still spit a couple of drops out of the vent when filling the tank but thats it.

I think I might want to try one, because everytime I fill up it seems like I loose two quarts out of the vent.
