8.8 Meter 88
 

I measured the tip of bow to rubrail on transom and got 30' 6", yet this is an 8.8 meter model (28 ' 10"), I purchased used in Rochester NY in 2002. Runs great but what gives with the 8.8 designation? Any other builder would call this a 31'.

Uh-oh. Just don't post this in the General Section. My '89 Fever is called a 36' but the next year it is called a '38. No changes at all. But when I insure it store it and detail it, it is listed as a '36. Why worry, it is what it is. MY BOAT!!! :)

Yes exactly, so when I added the 2.5' swim platform to the back it became a 33' !

I've got the same boat. It measures the same as the newer 32 without the swimdeck. Sure rides smooth for a 29' doesn't it?

better check the calibration of your tape measure!
