The owner of the 35 Fountain called today, very happy. In better water conditons and less load he went 97 mph on GPS. We got the smaller pulleys today and will try them later this week. I spoke with Arizona Speed & Marine and these are the pulleys they use. This will probably match up with the ECU better.

Wow, 97 MPH out of 502 mag's, that a great return on investment. BTW, what kind of props are they running?

The props are 30 Bravos, but the drives are 1.26 ratio. I don't want to mislead you on the investment. The MPI engines have CMI headers and HP500EFI cams, and the stock Bravos were replaced with XR drives. Not cheap, but more reliable than simply cranking up the boost on stock pieces.

You may have already seen my post in the Technical section, but with the smaller pulleys the owner reports 6 psi and 100 mph on GPS. I am still waiting for my ride...hopefully next week before the boat is stored. I will have more data on boost/RPM/intake air temps etc. after that, but the owner has put 20 hours on and is happy.

By the way, this is an awesome boat, and the 2" shorter XR drives seem to work well with the single step hull.
