Saw it today...not in the boat, but wired on the bench waiting for the 100psi oil pressure gauges running late Its always something.
It looks outstanding, I feel like a kid at Christmas.
This project has taken a long time to make it a reality.

I feel your pain....once I get the remaining 5 bezels from Too Old this week I will post my pics...here is the old, with that lovely Founatin all white and White Steering wheel!

I have noticed several Fountains with the black and gold plaque between the dash panel and the side panel like yours. What is it?

If it is the one I think you referring to just in front of the Silent Choice Switch...it is a nice advertisement that state it is made with Owen Corning Fiberglass or something like that...pretty chessie to put it out in the open like that.. :rolleyes: if you ask me

Get another plaque made. I wonder now if mine is fiberglass cause I don't have no "cheesy build sheet" on mine.

I don't pay to much attention to it, so not really worth my time to pry it off and hoepfully not damage my fiberglass.

Going Ok...spent last weekend working on putting in a new starter on my Port engine and bezels on my dash. Then could not get the little lady out of bed on Sunday to go down to the races because she worked 2nd shift and we were up until 2 after she got home, so no races for me this year. :(

Hopefully one of these days I get my trailer and can drive the boat down there and maybe be a patrol boat. Did you go down? I was looking for posts/updates from some of the people who went down but have not seen anything.

I was at McKinley Fri thru Mon morning. They always need help with boat volunteers. I worked Turn 1 Saturday. Maybe I'll see you at Oshkosh in Sept.

Dennis, it was fun running with all those Fountains...must have been about 7 of us.
I love to watch other 42's cut through the waves, it was prefect water.
We blew the crankseal out of the timing cover and made a BIG mess...so i droped it back on the trailer right away.
Your 42 looked smooth...maybe I'l make the run down to Diversy for the COPS run Saturday.

I finally finished my dash upgrade....on top the old....and the new! Thanks to Fred (Too Old) for all his help. Even though it was a pain in the a$$, the results are well worth it..IMHO...i think it look pretty cool. :cool:

the T shirt over the wheel was my way of saying thanks! as well!! You should have covers made up for wheels and props! w/ a blue background (my favorite!!) in your Logo , the switch covers would look good I think! had not thought of that..That would be cool !

had a treat this weekend and had XXX do a flyby while we were on the lake (oh Baby!!) what a sound!!! :woohoo:
