Blower vent inserts
A while ago I saw that someone had stainless steel bezels or inserts made for their blower holes in the transom. Any idea who has them or who makes them????

Re: Blower vent inserts
Bill, I think Livorsi makes them. Check out Trick Marine at www.trickmarine.net. If Livorsi carries them, Fred will have them or can get them. I have bought 2 speedos from him and has been very timely and great to deal with.

I think you are talking about the ones that US1fountain made for his boat.. he is the guy to ask

Re: Blower vent inserts
Thanks for the info. I will try and contact them soon

Re: Blower vent inserts
I made them myself. I designed them with a flapper inside to keep the water out while at rest since my boat sits with the rubrail at water level. I have not had 1 once of water in the bilge since I installed them.

Interested in making another set?? |
Re: Blower vent inserts
I wish they were quick and easy to make as I have gotten many request for them. Some w/o the flappers just for cosmetic reasons, some for the same reason as you. Just might have to think about this for a winter project. Thanks

Since I can't get them from Fred :party-smiley-004: does anyone know where else to get the vents? Mine are cracked on the edges and need replaced.

I couldn't find any that were a direct fit on mine. So I took the stockers to a paint shop that matched the colors exactly. Part of mine are white, other section is black.
