Re: EFI Installation

Actually changing the intake and the fuel injection for a carb motor over to the EFI setup Basically changing the whole intake. Has anyone made the swap successful? Then again I may be changing the whole motor. I bought a 27 fever with a motor problem, it looks like once a pawn a time the 502 Mag was swapped for a Orange paint 454 (probably a truck motor) anyway its junk. I am kind of a Fuel injection Freak, I changed my motorhome over to a EFI, so I am wondering if there is anything I need to look at when motor shopping. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW OF A 502 MAG FOR SALE NEAR ST LOUIS.

I have two recently freshened 502 MAG MPI. Complete Motor, pan to Intake Plenum, with exhaust manifolds and Stainless Risers. Also Freshwater Cooled Engines. Both were freshened by me and than ran for about 20 Hrs. Owner than decided to repower with more fuel efficient 496 MAG HO engines. $3500 each in NY Area.

27 Red Line

Swap the motor out, if you think its a old truck motor you are only asking for problems if you keep it.
