Well by your name I am guessing that it is a F1 29 Fountain with more than a F1 motor, 90mph so what are you using as power?? Considering a regular 29 runs 72-73 with a 500efi???

There is a section for classifieds, but, you had posted about an item that was very interesting to look at and was Fountain board related material. I do know that the board was down for some maintaince eariler so maybe it got lost in some updates or something? Anyway, good luck with selling or the conversion to pleasure.

f129, welcome to the board. That's a sweet ride with some bad-azz power. Where do you run it? Are you planning to add a cabin below? I'd like to see a pic of the dash.

Again, welcome.

Sweet little ride! Welcome. I've got an early non-step 29 w/twins. I was running high 80's w/twin 500's. We're re-powering this year w/650's and switching to Konrads. I'm looking for high 90's or better. We'll see!

Steve was doing some site upgrades yesterday and f'd up and deleted all posts made between 9am and 3pm.

Re: 29 fountain

I have a 1997 29 and run 90, but it took a 509 Blower Motor to do it. To do that and be Normally Aspirated is pretty cool.

Re: 29 fountain

f129F, No, I'm running Iron blocks and heads. We're stroking the motors and running Merlin rectangular port heads. I'm adamant about staying normally aspirated. I'm trying to stuff as much displacement as I can in this thing. It's got to run on pump gas and be reliable.
