Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
I'm goin to be honest here and state that i didn't like it...added too much to the dash/helm height, and was a bit narrow.
I'm not too fat either. |
Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
Hey Mark,
Did you know that the boat is deeper adding 4" of freeboard? |
Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
Thats one of the good points...Its still nice boat besides the cabin entry.

Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
You have got to be kidding! The old door is a terrible design (in my opinion).
|
Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
Would that door stop you from buying it? Not me.
|
Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
No It would not stop me...The wife is really pushing for a new one with mild power for family usage.
She is petite and was able to stand in the cabin...big plus there. That new door was needed but I don't like what became of the dash because of it. |
Re: Pics of a 42 at the Chicago Boat Show
Was at the storage building on the old 42 a little while ago... I must admit that the passanger side having a glove box and more leg room is a big plus over the old cockpit, but that dash add on still kills me.
Ok I'll shut up now :p |
