I ordered mine from Aqua Performance. Stainless steel,spring loaded. Custom made for Fountain,high quality stuff.
Ph. 951-340-9425 really nice people. All I needed was longer stainless lag bolts than what were supplied in the kit. Mounts under the swim platform. My wife just loves it, don't know how we when so long without it. I bought 2 more for my waverunners. $300 boat, $150 waverunners

On the above ladder, what keeps it from slapping up and down while running?

It's spring loaded with some really stiff springs.
The lower pic with the ladder down I have a piece of wood jammed in there to take the picture to show it extended.
