Re: Replacing tonneau cover

I have my buddy's 1997 42 in my building. It has the super-charger hatches with scoops. He had a real nice cover made for it. I pulled back the "Dust Cover" he had made last fall and took a few shots of the Cockpit Cover. Note the air vents with screens and the tie down straps on the back. With the old cover, the rear snaps came undone on a road trip. The cover beat the crap out of the powdercoated rails. Problem solved with these straps. Also note the vent cover. Part of the main cover, just added some snaps to the vent. Hope this helps.

OK, I give up... How the heck do I put the pictures in here???

Re: Replacing tonneau cover

Looks like your cover will have to come down to the rubrail in order to cover the vents. My boat is newer, so the vents are higher and the cover doesn't have to go down as far.

I looked at a 27 at 1 time that had the snaps screwed to the underside of the rub rail for the tonneau cover. Just a thought.
