If you went out and bought a nice brand new 525 top gun in 2004 you probably payed around $370K+ (including taxes) on a trailer out the door. I seriously doubt if you could get $290K for that same boat today. They all lose value - it's just relative.

and sold for 400k. Its still a 100K!!! Cigs, O.Ls and Fountains
and Nortechs, There all lossing the same money. By the
way, You can buy a brand new 35X for 150k,yet 7-8 year
old lightnings are all on the market for 100K. Thats doesnt
seem like bad resale to me. There is all this talk on OSO
how cigs hold there value so well. They only sell for more
because THEY COST MUCH MORE!!!! The loss is the same
or likely more than most Fountains when you figure what they cost new.

I have to add my two cents, I have no Idea why people want more than what they payed, But I would bet they got in over there head and can not get out . I live in an area where in come is poor, but yet I have a 35 my self and have worked my a$$ off for it and am proud of it . and I would bet that 90 % of the guys on this site gross more than me in a years time but I am happy with what I have . What really pi$$es me off is to go to work and listen to guys ***** that some one wants to much for some thing or some work that they what done , and they do not what to pay, I ask myfellow workers if they would come to work for half the pay, They say hell no ,I say then just pay the man he has to eat to. Don't get me wrong just trying to keep the playing field even.
