Re: 2005 Executioner FOR SALE !!
list was over 200K with upgrades...guages, bezels, steering wheel, controls etc...if a new 1 is 169 and you think this one is only worth 130 with 10 hours on her thats explains why the preowned market is so hot

Re: 2005 Executioner FOR SALE !!
130K is tops...
no paint, no trailer, and it's a readily avilable product new at discount pricing especially on a no trade deal. |

It's a used boat w/ all the details described above. There is new boat depreciation, period. New '04 35X's sold for $149,995 as a nationally advertised special. Most dealers continued the specials for '05 at 159,995. If he paid more than that he did not do his homework. Those prices were in every magazine and at every boat show. I have an '04 I am taking on trade that I will put on the market for $129,000 ask w/ 30 hrs. Boat shows as new. Tough sell. |
Re: 2005 Executioner FOR SALE !!
hey in my opinion if there selling new for 169,900 and i can buy one with 10 hours for 160 i'm 9900 ahead of the game but to each there own...plus we all know that most high end manufatures have 30-40 points in there MSRP's...i know for a fact that sea ray has 36 %

Re: 2005 Executioner FOR SALE !!
so if an 04 sold for 149 and with 30 hours your gonna sell it for 20k less, why would an 05 (current model year) with only 10 hours sell for 39k less ?

Re: 2005 Executioner FOR SALE !!
I guess it all boils down to how bad you want to sell it.
04 with 30 hrs on the market for 129k but selling for??? 05s are SELLING for 159k. It is now a used boat even with only 10 hours. Figure depreciation and more difficult to buy a used boat than a new one because of the dealer assistance and ask as you want. Selling for 130 sounds reasonable. |
