I don't think anyone drowned. People were starting all sorts of rumors on the beach.
They found the lady's kid on the beach down a ways after all that searching, not even in the water.
Friend who was on one of the rescue boats said there were several people that required help today though.

Mike, thats good news! I was bummed and didnt really feel like sticking around after that hence why we left.

I was trying to figure out what was going on. Someone told us they found "him". There was a 45 minute search with rope lines and the helicopter after that. But I also heard that there were 2 adults that were missing. Police were going through the crowds checking to make sure all parties had everyone, also. The currents were wicked. It looked to me like one of the coast guard boats located something, then shortly after the lifeguards were whistled in and the boats headed in and the chopper was gone. Will have to wait for the news to update us I guess. Are there any known rain dates? Will they race tomorrow? Or are they just done now?
