Great. 7 boats already and counting. I am going to be calling 6 or more non OSO that were on the run with us last year and let them know it's a go. Everyone is welcome. Looking good.

We are in. This time will leave before the tide gets too low.

Bob, count me in. Hopefully Problem Child will be ready by then. Do you have an exact date in mind? Would it be on the Sat. after New Years? I know some people might have plans or parties to attend. The location sounds great. I would even consider staying in Ft Meyers or Sanibel after the run and coming home the following day.

Great Dennis,

We need more cats !! Terry was lonely last week !

The tide at Estero Bay - Coconut Point is Low at 6:20 AM on New Years Day and high tide is not until 10:26 PM. May be something to watch for.
I will post tide information for all area ramps eventually when I start an "Information Thread" probably sometime next week.

We want to see you there Mike in that new Nor Tech ! The run is on New Years Day - Jan 1st. I know how you young guys like to party but you are gonna have to take it easy this year ! LOL

If it helps, we have a late start from the Sanibel Bridge at 11:00 AM. That location is fairly central for boats coming from the south or FM / FMB/ CC. This year I am suggesting we meet just south of the Bridge as there is more water there than where we met last year on the north side of the Bridge. The Punta Rassa ramp is conveniently there for boats trailering in.

Ok ok, I guess I will have to stop partying at 3:00am instead of 5:00. LOL I'm in! What kind of time line were you thinkin Bob? Depending on when the group gets back to Ft meyers will determine if I trailer and or stay the night.

Mike,
I expect we can easily be at Punta Gorda by 12:30 pm for lunch and try to be out of there by 2:30 pm. That would put us back at the Sanibel Bridge by 4 at the latest. I expect that I will run back to Marco getting off the water just before dark. Now we know how those that came all the way down from FM / CC felt for the Everglades run !! Maybe the Naples boats can all run together with me. I think some will need fuel and we will have to figure that one out.

Its all gonna depend on the weather for us. If it is too windy, I'll trailer north.............but what the heck, big water hasn't scared us yet!!!!!!

John,

[QUOTE]but what the heck, big water hasn't scared us yet!!!!!!

I will second that in your case
We saw you with 3 feet of air under your drives at one point on the return trip (rogue wave?) I really wish we could have snapped a picture of that for you.

We would like to head up and back with the Naples/Marco gang meeting at Gordon's again

By the way I must comment that Jayboat rocks with his picture taking/editing skills. It is very cool to have someone with your talent along
to catch the good shots
