Wanted to show you guys the pics of the new boat. I sign the papers next Friday. The only problem is: I need a name for it and I thought you guys could help me out! It's a Baja 405 in case anyone had problems figuring that out...

So post some ideas for a name and I'll let you know what I pick!

The new tow rig needs a little more power (what doesn't?) but tows like a dream - I didn't even know the 342 was back there when I was towing it last week; it would tend to pull the F-350 around a bit so it's quite an improvment.

I'm going to pick it up at the dealer in Pittsburgh and keep it up here for the summer (already have a slip at the lake). Then I'll bring it down in October when the season's over up here.

Yep - can't wait to break in the 'captain's chair'. BTW, I think your boat's name should be "Takin' it from Behind" because of what happened to it at the canoe races! :evilb:

Damn I just can't keep up. I am away from OSO for a week, Bob is selling Predator you are buying a new one:D. Congrats on the new boat. What kind of power does it have? Looks like we may be able to run similar speeds.

SELL OUT splashed yesterday. Hopefully I can bring it down to FL this winter, but as you know, space is at a premium, especially for a large boat... Our battleships can play cleanup in the fun-runs!

It's got 496 HO's. Pretty conservative but larger engines weren't in the budget. Should run around 60. Salesman said he's seen 64 with an identical setup, but I don't believe him.

Spent last night on it and it was so quiet in the cabin I couldn't believe it. I miss the custom graphics of my 342 but I'll get over it!

PS - as usual, I'll miss the next fun run. I'll be down 7/1 - 7/6. Have fun guys!
