Hello Tom,

I'll tell ya if you give us an update on your McMannus / Apache !! Sounds like you are close to splashing that baby . LOL:cool-smiley-011:

Two I know of on the water - Calusa Island Yacht Club in Goodland and Cape Coral Yacht Club in the Calsoosahatchy River. None that I know of in Naples.

Also remember Dockside Fuel Service ( 239 549 3335 ) will deliver to your door. Also I have used A-1 Fuel Svc at 239 246 4777.:D

Hey Tom,

I started using Torco accelerator. Now I can get gas anywhere. Ordered it on line.

I have been purchasing it by the 5 gallon cans. Use a quart for every 25 gallons. It sounds expensive once it is amortized over 25 gallons it is the same as premium.

Bob:

The boat went in the water last week for testing. Need some prop tweaking and it's done. I posted some pics from last weekend in the restoration thread.

I ran low on fuel last Sunday afternoon and had to top off with 89. I had 110 in the tanks for the sea trial so I wasn't too worried. I am testing the new props tomorrow and will put on a few hours to make sure we get through the infant mortality gremlins. I want to leave the boat in the water so I won't be able to mix in any avgas to raise the octane.

Dennis: I was told that the additives like Torco should not be used with EFI engines. What is your experience?

Thanks guys.

Mark H and Dave W, have used it a lot. They turned me on to it and it has been great so far. Dave built the engines and insist I use it.
Torco is not a fuel booster it is an accelerator(accelerant). If you get it don't drop it on your paint.
