How often would you like to see FMO, Inc. fun runs? Express your thoughts and ideas here to let us know what you would like to see. At this time we have tentatively scheduled the following runs:

Saturday Oct 11, 2008 ( Columbus Weekend ) destination to be confirmed but will most likely be Naples

Saturday November 29, 2008 annual Thanksgiving weekend run to Fisherman’s Village, Punta Gorda

Thursday Jan 1, 2009 annual New Years Day run to Marco Island

Last year we had a run to South Seas Plantation on Dec 8th that had an overnight option. That was a fun weekend . Do we want to do it again? Sat Dec.6th is only one week after our Thanksgiving Weekend run which is a bit soon and if we wait two weeks till the 13th isn’t that getting too close to Christmas? Maybe the answer is to offer overnight accommodations at South Seas on the Thanksgiving Weekend run. Any thoughts on that?

We need to be sensitive to following dates:

Oct 4th weekend – Poker Runs America Sarasota run

Oct 29th weekend – Ft Lauderdale Boat Show

Also the Florida Powerboat Club has events scheduled for Oct 18th weekend and Key West races Nov 4 to 10.

Once we settle on this part of the schedule we can then look at Jan / Feb / March. It will help our northern visitors to make their travel plans.

Sounds like a lot of fun Bob! We look forward to Oct 11th. What about a run to Keywadin? A good beach party is always fun........ Just a thought.

Thanks Don. I think after lunch on the Oct 11th run to Naples we should all go over to Keewaydin and hang out for awhile. I know I won't be going home at 2:30 PM.
