Canoe Races & Keewayden... May 9th???
 

Just wondering if anyone is gonna be out for the canoe races this year over on keywaydeen? Im not 100% sure ill be there but i may end up there depending on when i head back to new jersey for the summer.
Also im checking out a vintage cigarette so if i get that then ill have to run it around and see how she performs.

50/50 as of now.

i think i will be there 90% sure. Most likely on a 39 foot kevlar cigarette that was owned by Bob Nordskog back in the day so i may be there on that if everything works out properly with it, haha. if not maybe on the little whaler since i hear it gets tight there.

I think it was Thursday when we went by you so that would have been day #1. Actually probably hour #1. So far it is a great boat.

P.S. Stay away from the east side of New Pass at extreme low tide. We were out on the 275 FOR THE LAST NIGHT and I knew it was low so we were crawling back. Got stuck so I figured I would get out and pull the boat. There is no water to be found anymore at low tide there. Got pulled out eventually and I spent a few hours resting at the Lover's Key ramp until the tide came back enough to get back home. Go figure, last night. I think it was a sign that the 275 was ticked that it was going to Germany.

Jeez, Keywadin was nuts. We're recovering today. What a beautiful place. Apparently my two year old likes camping, so we'll have to make that trek more often.

yeah it was insane!!! Couldn't believe how packed it was. Was a great time out there though. Now time to drive back to NJ with the Boat
