My wife and kids will be on spring break starting that weekend I'm hoping to be down there late Friday or early Saturday depending on when we take off driving. So I'll make sure I walk the beach to see if I can see your boats. If you're on your boat is it ok if I come out and say hi while rafted at Lani Kai. I think we are staying at the Neptune or something like that on Fort Myers Beach.

By all means say hello. We would be disapointed if a fellow OSO did not say hi. We all have the same passion for our boats. I would think we would arrive there around 2:30 ish.

He, he. I think you are going to keep after me about this until I agree, Mark. I must dig out that info I have stashed away somewhere on Chicago to Detroit. I just feel like crusin these days rather than setting records. I'm aching. We will see.

Then just come to michigan and go boating you can keep the boat at my dock in front of the house and we have lots of extra sleeping room

Come and stay and play as if you lived here

Thanks, Marc. That is a kind and attractive offer. I am long overdue to spend some time in MI so hopefully I can do that next summer. For a few years in the mid 90's I kept a boat in Pt Huron. Made many trips up Huron as far as Macinaw. No OSO in those days so I did not get to meet too many other offshores while there. Tyler Crocket kept me running when I would break something. We will keep in touch.

What about the Destin Poker Run? Is there one planned for this year, or am I in the right forum? Wifey and I may plan a vacation this year around that time.
