Default Are there any good XR drive mechanics around town?

Looks like I have an upper seal leaking on my XR and I have company coming in later this week. Called Nortech and they can't get to it until late in the week.

Are there any other local guys that you trust?

You probally met them on the last FMO run, Don has the 30 Motion.

If that does not work out, send PM to "MegaByte*3", Tom C.
He ran a marine facility in Ft Myers, knows all the locals, and
you probally also met him on the last FMO run.

Thanks AppSyscons, Bill, I dropped the boat off at Gulf X this afternoon. They are getting right on it.

Well my wife just picked up the boat. Dropped it off Monday and by yesterday afteroon they had already fixed my leaky upper seal and changed the oil to boot. The price they charged was very reasonable under any circumstances but especially so considering the rush I put on it.

Thanks a bunch to Glenn and Gulf X, and to Appysyscons and others for steering me in their direction. My soon to be guest have no idea how close they came to not boating this weekend.

Nice to hear, Robert. Have a great time on the waters of SW Florida this weekend.
