A couple of things to note regarding the posters. Note the change of date to Sat March 3rd for our March run. The last couple of years Poker Runs America have had an event in Cape Coral on the 2nd weekend in March so we have changed our date, leaving the 10th open for them. I will be sending out a notification of this change to all FMO members by e mail soon.
I could use some help in distributing the posters to marine business' in the area. We are hoping that they can be displayed in a prominent location to inform fellow performance boaters about our events. Please contact me if you are able to place a few posters on behalf of the Club. If it's for your bedroom wall, then contact Jay and he will sell you one ! LOL
Thanks,
Bob

Weather:
At this time there is considerable uncertainty with what to expect weather wise this weekend. I will wait until tomorrow evening to post the official weather, hoping the picture will be more clear. We need to watch hurricane Rina which is currently in the western Caribbean. Some forecasts call for it to eventually turn east and weaken but could bring some rain to south Florida. A day or so we should have a better idea and see how we are effected if at all.

NOAA Marine Weather:

Friday Night...Northeast winds around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Bay and inland waters a light chop. A chance of showers.
Saturday...Northeast winds around 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy. A chance of showers.
Saturday Night...Northeast winds around 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy. A slight chance of showers.
Sunday...Northeast winds around 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy. A slight chance of showers.
Bob note: Let's hope for an improved forecast by noon Friday or we may have to cancel or postpone the run. My experience has been when the forecast calls for a 60% chance of rain.... well, it's going to rain. Add to that 20 knot winds and it's just not fun. I have talked to Porta Bello restaurant and we are to have a conversation just before noon Friday at which time we will have to confirm or postpone. Stay tuned, please. I will e mail all those who have registered if the evnt is cancelled or postponed as well as post here. Like Rick posted ... We need a sunshine dance for a good day Saturday. i will update this weather posting if any change.
