Lunch run to Everglades City
 

I'm going to run down to Everglades City in the Donzi tomorrow Jan 6th for lunch. Just 20 mi south of Marco. I've found another great place besides the Rod & Gun Club for lunch. Very casual and Key West like. Leave Marco around 11:30 - noon ish. Will finish out the day hanging out at Keewaydin Beach.

If there are any local FMO offshore's that want to come along they are welcome. I have a couple of open seats if anyone is boatless and wants to come.

Sure thing. Dave. I can pick you up at the boat ramp at Caxambas Park at the south end of Marco Island at 11:30 AM ish. It is off South Collier Blvd just before it comes to an end. Hans is coming and maybe a few others as well. Call me if any change of plans or if you need more detailed info. Not sure where you are coming from but allow 30 minutes from exit 101 off I - 75.

We had a great afternoon on the Donzi today. Ran down to EC as planned to a fairly new place called Camillia St Grill. Very casual and Key West like. Not overly busy but steady. food was pretty good. Nice to have an alternative to Rod & Gun Club. I will go back. On the way out we saw the white Pelicans again so stopped to check that out. The Park Rangers came over as soon as they saw us stop to check us out. My flares had expired date on them so they wrote up a warning. They were just a couple of young guys so we had a little fun with them.
