FMO New Years run to Marco Island, FL coming soon !
 

With a lot of anticipation building for our upcoming annual FMO New Years run to Marco Island on Saturday January 2nd, we are going to publish and circulate our roll / call and event details in the next day or so. All event arrangements have now been complete and here are a few highlights you can expect to see in the roll call:

1) this is our 10th annual run to The Esplanade Marina on Marco where we will enjoy a superb buffet lunch on the deck at CJ’s on the Bay. This event is one of the clubs largest with 35 or more boats attending each year.
2) DoubleR Performance has again stepped up as our major sponsor. Thank you Raymond and Peter Roberts and all the good people at DoubleR !
3) the run to Marco Island will start at the Sanibel Bridge at 11 AM Saturday Jan. 2nd and is an open water 35 mile run on the Gulf to Marco Island.
4) we have booked club photographer Jay Nichols to fly in a helicopter capturing the boats in motion during the course of the run. You may contact Jay after the run to purchase pictures of your boat if you like.
5) we have restocked our FMO clothing line so watch for several new items for both men and ladies. Proceeds from our clothing sales and our 50/50 draw go towards funding FMO’s charitable student scholarships.
6) if planning on attending please register and pay online on FMO’s website under “ events “ http://www.ftmyersoffshore.org/events.php ( see event # 4 ) Also be aware that membership is required to participate in all club events and you can join or renew your 2016 membership online at http://www.ftmyersoffshore.org/membership.php
