Re: I need advice on a new trailer
I have had very good luck and performance from our Mycos. I would say get the aluminum if you trailer and dunk all the time.I have heard pluses and minuses for the electric over hydraulic brakes. So I have had surge type.
I had a twin axle under our 1988 scarab panther. The trailer was rated at 10,000 lbs.. Our last boat 2001 358 had a triple axle rated at 15,000 lbs. When I spoke to Bill Tweede at Myco he said the dual axle was strong enough for our 358 but is said give me a triple axle.I have an other Myco under our new 386. I went with steel all three times because I don't dunk the trailers that often. When I needed parts for the trailers Myco was great to deal with. Tom |
Re: I need advice on a new trailer
Get the electric over hydraulic disk brakes. They work. Joe Murray

Kodiak Disc Brakes, they aren't cheap but if you get the stainless ones you won't be disapointed. Either Surge or electric over hydraulic, your choice.

Kendall is the king of the LED's. Check into the hub set-up I was telling you my new AMT trailer has. The entire hub (bearings and all) can be replaced with one nut. |
