[QUOTE=gotime34. My family used to have a house in Stowe,

Go, i live in Stowe. Whereabouts was your house? Were you a resident, or had a second home here?
It was a second home...vacation house. If you drive down route 100 and go through the town, then past the grand union, not sure if thats still there, then take the next right across from a farm, up to almost the top of that mountain. I don't remember the name of the road, but I have more memories of our Stowe house than the house I grew up in. I loved it up there. I havn't been there in a while. We sold the house about 6 months before the Shed restaurant burned down. Great place to live.

We boat mostly around Hartford and Middletown. Harbor park is a great place to bring the boat, its a bar/restaurant in middletown. But there are a bunch of places along the water in that area to dock and hang out all day. We also Boat out in Long Island Sound a lot. Things are looking good on the boat so far this year so hopefully we will make it to the champlain run.
