OK, excuse me...so what year did the Still Crazy boat stuff? It was more than 20 years....correct?

Ryan Beckley 01-26-2009 12:22 PM

Still Crazy crashed in Nov of 1985 killing Dick Fullam & Mike Poppa
Jesse James stuffed in Nov of 1986 killing Mark Lavin

The story I got on Still Crazy was the rear fuel tank was not used and the fuel was in the foreword tanks (wing)

I remember FINISH LINE.. if I remember correctly we painted that boat in an aircraft hanger in CT somewhere, and had drinks in your citation. Last I knew Pooch was living out in PA. Havent spoken to him in quite a while.

Roger, I was a kid when I met you growing up in Key West. I used to draw pictures of all the boats and give them to the owners. I was a die hard Jesse James fan and was around them all the time.

Hello Ryan, Well in my opinion you couldn't have picked a better boat to hang around. I see you are doing well. I am glad you have kept up with your artwork (a little more detailed than before I suppose) from what I can see you do some nice work. Good luck with the boat!!

I Think You Painted The Finish Line In A Barn In Chester ??
It Was Red, "american Spirit" BOB MOLINARI'S BOAT, Then You Painted It White.
He Was A Character, But Could Paint

Oh, ok I remember now, the boat I was thinking of before was a white Skater, Dirty Laundry... I have got to go look at some of my old pictures and refresh my memory... We also painter What a Package, Black Duck....

In March/April 1988, I flew down with some friends to watch an APBA race in Panama City, Florida where TWO racers were killed in their 30' Cat named "LIBERTY". They were running a little late getting into town and were barely able to start the race on time....I think they even missed the pre-race meeting and were a few minutes late on the start of the race. I remember the water being a little rough that day for a 30' boat...especially a cat! During the race I also remember seeing their boat a couple times coming down the stretch---FAST...along the beach trying to make up for lost time and catch the leaders. I don't remember their names, but everyone was caught off guard with the bad news.
