mwdill I like the look of that system. I've been thinking along those lines fro next winter. Can they add the fuel consumption data that comes from the ecu? How pricey? Are special senders required?

I'll read lit later but these questions crossed my mind right now.

THanks

I am presently installing the Sc1000 monitors. Waiting on Livorsi to send us the correct wiring harnesses.
I should hopefully have an update after the Poker Run this weekend.

right now you have to tie in to the fuel pres.
but they are coming out with an upgrade soon that will show consumpsion.
price retail is 1700.00$ -2200.00$ for the mxl pro.
you will need senders for whatever you are going to monitor, they have those as well , but im thinking we might be able to tie into the existing wires,
are your motors efi's?

Re: Smartcraft, Raceview, ect... ???

Mine are EFI engines--MEFI 1's for ecu so smartctaft ins't an option--they say. I don't think "they" know what all the details are. The MEFI code set and datastreams are teh same--just addition data on newer ecu's. My RINDA tester will read all that my MEFI's output--and will plug into later model ecus as well.

At ont point Teleflex in Clearwater was looking at a Smartcraft-like system but apprently it didn't make the cut. I've purchased a B&G NetEngine unit fro fuesl consumption but lousy weather has kept me from hooking it up. Maybe this week and they've decided to discontinue the product.

Maybe I need to contact Teleflex again--check out this -- http://www.teleflexmorse.com/scripts...nics/i5000.pdf --the engine moitoring stuff on page sounds good if they implemented it.
