Public Beach #2 Is The Best Right In The State Park Of Highway 54 In The Middle Of Osage Beach. The Ramp Is 1 Mile From Party Cove And You Can Leave Your Truck And Trailer Overnight And They Have Covered Docks For Rent As Well.

Jason,

I called and left you a message about Bblades but I didn't hear back. Have been down to LOTO more times than I can count. If you are interested in a long weekend and sleeping on the boat the State Park is the way to go. Rent a slip for the weekend, clean showers/bathrooms, and it's the closest you can be to party cove without actually staying there. Couple hotels are fairly close too..innatgrandglaize.com comes to mind first...no covered slips but decent prices..slips are first come first served. Where in WI are you?

Jason, keep in mind if you go to LOTO on mem day weekend it will probably be pretty rough down there all weekend, not to big a deal if you don't plan on running to much, forgot how old your son is but if your wife still has to hold on to him it could get old for her.

If you had posted this a week earlier, I could have set you up in the condo we usually rent, The Ledges, right around the corner from Shooters 21. We decided not to go this year and gave up our rental kinda short notice.

Lake cumberland in ken.. I've been to both and the only thing loto has better is bars and eateries on the water. They have a decent party cove also. Loto is king if you want to see t & a all weekend.

Re: Needs some ideas please

Jason,

I think we'll probably end up staying in Madison over the Memorial Day Weekend...all depends on the weather...you know how it is up here  I don't know of anything big happening up here other than probably the typical hangouts throughout the weekend. I'll do some checking to see if there is anything planned at any of the "stops" on the lakes.

How about you? Any big plans yet or are you still looking?

There are plenty of condo's to rent at LOTO with slips.

Check out www.vrbo.com and click on Missouri. I would try to stay in the Osage Beach or Horseshoe Bend areas. They are the closest to everything. The water will be rougher, but you will be a short boat or car ride from most places.
