Yep ..... Funky deal .... Shortened (dammed) hull ... Mario Andretti was supposedly a partner in it .... Was at the MOCA runs back in the 90's .

Send an email to Mark Mcmanus, might as well hear it from him if it has any history...

There was thread on that boat about 6 months ago. I don't remember any of the details other than it was a one of kind boat.

Jerrys right Mario A. was a partner on this ride. It's been in the motor city it's whole life, if it had 3A's I probadly would have gone for it last fall. I am sure it rides great but those drives don't belong on a 40' supercharged boat. I love the layout, but went the a #6 6 pack 41. Steve

Those XR's should be fine on that boat with that mild power.

For the right price, a nice set of Konrad's new shiftable drives might look good on that transom...

It's a sweet looking boat, but I am sure it is very heavy. Hope it stays in the great lakes. Steve

Nykamp,
You told me about this boat earlier this year in a Top Gun discussion. I was killing time and went to see it since I've never seen an Apache up close. The boat was shrinkwrapped so only could see the exterior which was in very nice condition. I thumped the hull in a number of places and could not get over how solid it sounded. Drives looked great cosmetically.
