Thanks Dave,
Dreams do come thru.... you can come and ride with us anytime. We love to go trail riding, they are so many trails here. You can go all day long. Won't you come by with Tres after you're done with his course? :D

You're doing what I decided to do last year. I've always wanted to retire in Deland on a canal that leads to the St John's River. Last year, I decided why wait until I'm too old to enjoy it. We moved here last year, and I couldn't be happier. Just wish I'd done it 20 years ago. The best thing about being out of the big cities is the lack of traffic. I travel down 326 quite often. I take Hwy 40 to 326 to go to Debbie's parent's place. We've also done quite a bit of work in Ocala, including that Arby's on 326 at I 75. No doubt, Ocala is one beautiful place, but it's just a tad farther from salt water than I want to be. How long have you been up there?

There are plenty of lakes in the Orlando area which works for us. We are not here full time yet, just on the weekend for probably another 60 days. We hope!

Thank god my wife moved up from jump horses to V-8 horses.... boats are chump change compared to those living breathing 1-horse-power jobies...

Glad you guys are following through on a goal... it;s the only way to go.

After driving for a couple of days and looking at different lakes, we choose to do our school at Lake Harris in Tavares, great boat ramp, real nice facility. It is 35 minutes from Orlando airport. We wanted to be as convenient as possible for everybody that decide to sign up for the course.
From Ocala its about 50 minutes drive, piece of cake!
