is the trailer (which is very cool by the way) approved by the DOT or how does that work for a home made trailer......???

Thanks. Wish I owned the trailer. In Pennsylvania, there is a process to get home-built trailers (or boats) registered. The state will even supply you a serial number. Inspections are no different from factory-built trailers: If it's got the right stuff, and it's in good shape, it passes. As it turns out the guy has also built a number of Pro Street machines, so he's (obviously) no stranger to fabrication.
