I was out earlier today on St. Clair....
The boat I was in was a 32 Skater a buddy of mine is bringing to the Upper part of Michigan.
We were running around 120mph...total blast.....one word of caution...still debris on the lake...careful with your new toy.
Doing laps in Anchor Bay around 11 am today...maybe you heard us...'cause you sure couldn't see us.. we gassed up at Mac and rays...then back on the trailer and up it went to Marquette.

I pulled it over with the wife's 2005 Durango Hemi. It was no problem, smooth sailing the whole way. The Hemi did get a bit winded going uphill, but nothing unexpected. And I averaged 13 mpg towing, nothing to sneeze at...

You might be able to get short-term in-out service at Grand Isle Marina, just upriver from the Grand Haven drawbridge. Keenan marina in Spring Lake may be able to slip you or maybe in-out the boat. I'd be really wary of tying up to the wall in G.H. Maybe if you had fenders the size of a Volkswagen,,,,,,,,,,,
