Super Hawaii
A customer asked me about the value of his 1991 34' Super Hawaii, and I don't have a clue. Fairly new 454's,supercharged,new upholstery, pretty cool graphics, salt water, junk trailer. He just wanted a wide price range to sell it. Any ideas? If anyone has interest,PM me and I will email his phone #,boat is in Orange Beach,AL

I don't mean to slam anyones boat here but my experience with the Super Hawaii is that it's kind of a pig. They're pretty nice for an express cruizer but I wouldn't classify it as a go fast boat.

I remember seeing a 38 at the miami show in the early 90s(93?) and it was hot... Low profile and 5 or 6 standup bolsters.
But since that one, I've seen nothing so great.

The fowl is right. I love my Super Hawaii!
With stock 454 mags, it will run about 68mph. I think that is just above the slug rating. It will handle rough water as good or better than anything it's size. Like anything I had to learn how to drive it properly to feel comfortable in rough water. I'm talking 5-6' lake Michigan water.
I've heard of 2 34's selling for $48-50k in the last 12 months. I paid less than that 3 years ago, this month. Both of them were under 250 hours and all stock, fresh water boats.
The hull is from the 32' Midnight Express.
I'll add more later tonight.

Re: Super Hawaii
I have been in Paytons boat in some serious water on Lake Michigan. I think that the waves were everybit of 6', the boat handled very well. We had a great time that day didn't we Mark. I do not think 45-50k is out of reason for a boat like that.
