Default does this kind of set up damage drives

the outdrives? i know when towing the out drive will go vertical with the bumps when towing and is a normal postion for the drive to be in. but does this kinda side load stress the gimbles when towing ?

cool pic btw , courtesy of vette 131.

I would tend to think that the bumps in the road are nothing compared to running that rig hard offshore.

People that have rigs like that have plenty of $$ to buy new drives.

drives shouldn't be stressed with the hyd steering holding them unless there is play in the steering which means you have problems already.... sixes are tough, i am sure they see much more abuse running 140 in a 12k lb boat....

This may be a stupid question but the boat on the trailer like that....does the trailer tilt hydraulically or does the boat get lifted and put into the water with a crane everytime they take it out?
