The race is in stages (including a night stage) and a total of 1000 kms. The sea in that part of the World is rough to VERY ROUGH! That little red boat (a Falcon 700RSR) came 1st in F2 and in the open class too. The reason I recon is because of the very competent pilot that was racing it. The Yellow boat (Ballistic 750) with the 2in 200VMaxes came second and had some damage on deck too. Both good hulls but the red Falcon (which has a hull based on a Phantom 21) is faster.

I bet they can run tight in the turns. When they hit they would just bounce off each other with little or no damage...
