Some consider Leon Slikkers to be sort of a "Father of Fiberglass" Boats. My partner had one of these and it was a handfull at speed. Forgot what the issue was but he ended up parking it at the front door and demanded to see Leon - he finally came out and made things right. Sank off Saugatuck and went down the road to a little un-known co. ( back then) and bought a Douglas Marine Skater - then he found out what a handfull that was too! Loaned it out and it sank also.
Gotta love that steering

I like the "expensive hynuatic steering" thats a universal mount hydrualic cylinder out of the grainger or mcmaster car catalog that costs like 200 bucks

I AGREE THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS JUST OUTSTANDING!!! I WISH I HAD A CIGARETTE STYLE BOAT!!! THE STEERING RAM AND GOLD PLATED PROP IS REALLY CUSTOM TOO.

Look like nice new risers! How would you ever pull that motor? It would be more worth your time to cut the boat in half with a chainsaw.
