Thumbs up Re: LOTO POWERBOAT CLUB-need sponsors and members

What is the best route for a 12' wide load from I-44 to Osage Beach? I have to get permits for this weekend, and don't know about going through Camdenton? We took Want Some out Saturday, and that is a machine!!! Put it on the trailer with just 2 of us yesterday, and it went on flawlessly

Bub,
Jim @Midwest just called and I guess the noise nazis were out in force @ LOTO this past weekend. I am trying to find a fix for the 6" CMI but since they (CMI) don't build two tailpipes the same it is kinda tuff to make something to work on all boats as an insert. We will have a clamp on next week but alot of cat guys won't like the clamp on look.

You might look at it on the trailer, but the tailpipes aren't even close to round It has baffles in it now, but I am not sure what they are. It seems like they would make those a little thicker so they will stay round.

I don't think you have much of a choice but go through camdenton... even if you get off at 65 and go to 54 you still end up there.... although 65/54 might be wider than 5.... every inch counts on a 12' wide boat.....

I'd go straight up HWY 5 at lebanon. It's the shortest stretch of two lane HWY off I-44 according to the map, approx. 30 miles. That is if you're heading east from springfield.

I would take 70 to 54. There is no way I would pull it on 5. I don't care how long it would take.
